I went out and misplaced my BRP card. What do I need to do?
If you misplaced your BRP card you will need to first report the incidence. Call UK Police: 101 or 999 to report then they will advice on what you need to do if you need to visit their station.
Report to home office there: https://www.biometric-residence-permit.service.gov.uk/lost-stolen/where
If its expiring date is more than 3 months, You will then need to apply for another one within 3 months. The processes will depend on your visa status.
When i had the same issue, I was a dependent Skilled worker visa holder, I was made to apply as if i am requesting for a new Visa, went for biometrics capturing and they issued another BRP for me.
